MALIN+GOETZ was founded in New York in 2004 with a philosophy of “less, but better”, creating uncomplicated, high-quality skincare, fragrance, and home products. Since its inception, the brand has evolved into a global lifestyle company, with design and clarity at the core of everything it does.

In collaboration with 101-AD, the Battersea Power Station store translates this ethos into a modern apothecary experience, shaped by the architectural context of Turbine Hall A. The concept draws on the building’s Art Deco heritage and industrial character, using symmetry, rhythm, and restrained geometry to inform the spatial layout. A fluted glass arcade defines the storefront, establishing clear zoning and circulation while maintaining openness and visibility throughout the space. A refined palette of warm, mushroom-toned materials, stainless steel, and marble references both the historic interiors of the Power Station and the brand’s understated design language.

The result is a considered retail environment that balances industrial heritage with contemporary precision that creates a calm, gallery like setting for product and experience
